🌄🎺 Light the Lakes 2025 – Massed Band Performance with a Purpose ✨

The City of Birmingham Brass Band is honoured to be taking part in the powerful and moving Light the Lakes Massed Band event on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June 2025 in the stunning Lake District.

This annual event brings together brass musicians from across the UK to perform and pay tribute to fallen police officers. With massed band performances and a symbolic torch-lit climb up the fells, it’s a heartfelt weekend of remembrance, unity, and music in one of the country’s most breath taking settings.

🎺 Featuring: City of Birmingham Brass Band and massed brass ensembles

The band will be part of the massed performance, supporting the Care of Police Survivors (COPS) charity, and joining fellow musicians to help light up the mountains in memory of those lost.
